Anyone need a SnugRide Carseat Base

We're going to be traveling back to PA for the holidays, and I really don't want to have to bring our base, but I'd also like to have one for my parent's car to use while we're there.  Since we won't be back in the area before he's out of the infant seat, I'm thinking of buying one to use for the two weeks we're there and then selling it to someone for cheaper than the $40 it costs.  Would anyone be interested, and what would you be willing to pay?  I'd be willing to buy either the silver or beige color depending on what someone would need.

I'd be interested.  Just today, Dh was telling me we need another one b/c of a fiasco we had with picking up the kids today.  It's for the Graco Snugride, right?  Think it would work with our model from 2006?

Yes, Jill.  It is for the Graco car seat.  I don't know about the 2006 compatibility, but I'm guessing you could call the company to find out.  Heck, I'll even do it for you.  Let me know what you'd be willing to pay.  It would be available for you to pick up at my parent's house in New Cumberland after January 2nd.

Here's another option - I have one that came out of my mom's car (used twice) when Adam went into the convertible seat. It's promised to my friend who just had twins for a grandparent's car, but they don't need it until after the holidays. You'd be welcome to use it.

I'm in Mechanicsburg but could meet your parents someplace with it. I am off Tuesdays and Thursdays and if they wanted to pick it up, we're around most evenings.

And no need to pay - it's just sitting in our junk room, collecting dust until I can take it to my friend's house!

rlthomas:  That sounds great!  My parents work during the days, but my mom is a teacher and gets off fairly early in the day, so she could probably pick it up next Tuesday or Thursday.  They live in New Cumberland, so I'm thinking that they could just pick it up from your house (if you don't mind).  Why don't you email me becsunshine at hotmail dot com, and we'll talk details.  I really appreciate it.

Jill:  I think you're right that this is a better situation.  When I typed that ours wouldn't be available until the new year, I was thinking that it wouldn't work out.  Thanks anyway though!
