I am flying from Kansas to Oregon on December 27th and will have a return flight on December 30th. I've only flown one time in my life (it was this September/October to FL) and it was so easy it was ridiculous. I'm assuming that is not going to be the case this time. I'm traveling alone and have a short layover in Denver. Any tips?
Also, I have to somehow get a bridesmaid dress out there.
Re: Anyone fly over the holidays?
Luggage bag for the dress.
?
get a garment bag for the dress, like what my husband transports suits in..? you know? they fold in half and are soft sided? I suppose if you don't want to buy one or borrow one, you could get a large plastic bag and cover the dress folded in half on a hanger...put something around the flat side of the hanger though so it doesn't crease the dress, like wrap a dish towel around it and tape it?
how long will you be in denver? If I weren't so pregnant I would come meet you at the airport and the girls could play together! unfortunately our airport is a HUGE pain in the ass! and I am....lazy. Plus, I sort of hope to have this baby early!
I usually fly over the holidays, b/c my family is all east coast, and it is usually easier than I think it will be every time. I always expect the worst. BUT- I hear a lot of flights are being cut and they'll be overall more crowded...
I think it shouldn't be too bad, though. Have fun!
