Test again? How long should I wait?

So, first, I'm really trying hard to not get ahead of myself, as I really don't want to get my hopes up for anything. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I ovulated on/around Nov. 29th (which means I'm currently 10 DPO.) This cycle has been much shorter (if I'm reading all of my signs clearly) which is now putting me in a long cycle/short cycle pattern.?

I decided to test Sunday, 8 DPO which I realize is a bit early. Based on my signs and previous cycles (which again--not entirely reliable), I'm expecting to get AF the 13th, this Saturday. I probably tested way too early, but couldn't wait.

I've been spotting now, very very lightly, for 3-4 days, which in my entire history of AF, have never had happen. I also have a light cramping feelings. I've been extremely tired, and unfortunately, have been oversleeping an hour plus every morning. Thank goodness I usually get to work an hour and a half before the kids. Then again, I wouldn't expect to be tired yet, right.

So, should I test again in a few days, or is this once again me being unpredictable with new thing happening with AF? Ug, I wish I was "normal"!

    I'd test....even tomorrow if that's 11 dpo.  Pick up a couple of Dollar Store tests so you don't feel like you're wasting money if you decide to test a few days earlier than originally planned.  The extreme fatigue sounds like a good sign though.  Good luck to you!

    Thanks for your feedback. I'm going to try to wait until Thursday to test again. I'm trying to be level-headed about it all and just hope I'm not reading too much into things.

    Then again, what an amazing early christmas present that would be : )

    test!!  I was always a tester... it was hard with the BFNs but I couldn't help myself

    TEST!! I was due for AF on a Thursday and I tested on Monday and got a faint positive line then tested again on Tuesday and got a digital positive.

    I would test again.  Both times I got my BFP it was at 10DPO.  My AF was due on Tuesday and I got my BFP on that Friday before.  Good luck!!!  Your symptoms sound very promising! 

    BTW, I have wacky cycles too.  Before my m/c I would have 35-55 day cycles.  After the m/c my cycles were a normal 29-31 days.  I remember the frustrations of long irregular cycles for many years.

    I say either test in a day or two, or if you're really anxious (as I would be!), get the cheap tests and test.  I hope your christmas comes early!!

    I agree with Jill. I was a tester and had a stock of $1 tests from the dollar store. I think I started testing at like 6 or 7 DPO because I coudn't stand it. I got my BFP on one of those at 10 DPO!

    I got both BFPs at 11 DPO.  Oddly enough, both cycles, I tested at 9 dpo, BFNs, and skipped 10 DPO on both.

     

    I swear 11 DPO is lucky ;)
