Parties at The Little Gym?

I've been to My Gym before but never to The Little Gym. I was thinking about looking into having my son's 2nd birthday party there. What are their birthday parties like? Do they have stuff for kids to play with like ball pits, small climbing structures, swings, etc (that's how My Gym is) or is it more interactive where they have games and songs where the parents and dance/play with the toddlers?

Re: Parties at The Little Gym?

  • We had my DD's 2nd birthday party at The Little Gym last month. I think each one is independent, but her's was an hour playing in the large room, followed by half an hour in the cake room. They have gymnastics type things like a balance beam and a low uneven bar to swing on, but they also have an air mat that kids jump on and other fun things. Ours doesn't have a ball pit or climbing wall. They did three activities with the kids (the big air mat, "whale rides" on this enormous ball, and the parachute) and the kids had a lot of free time to play in between. DD and her friends all had a lot of fun. I'd do it there again. It was nice to be able to have all the kids come and run around, but not have it in my house. All we did was show up with a cake. Super easy.
  • We just went to a party there and it was very interactive.  They had small intervals of free play, then they did the air mat, a ball throwing game, hoops, balls, bubble machine, circle time etc.  Then they had the pizza, cake in the back room and the employees did everything, the parents just got to enjoy the party.  Seemed great to me!
