Hope you are able to find peace.....your birth story gave me chills - about your arms being tied down and you saying "you'd be good" if they stopped

It is so paralyzing to me sometimes when the old shit I thought I've dealt with so well unexpectedly rears its head

No matter how much therapy or how well I think I'm doing, my life will be affected forever.

I never knew anyone that "got" that before.

hugs to you both.  i am also a survivor and having my arms tied down for the CS was very difficult for me.  they also had to put me under general and when he held the mask over my face, he held it on me reallllllly tight and inside my head i was absolutely freaking out.  you never know when it will creep up and effect you.  even after years of therapy...

I'm so sorry that it happened to you too.  I hate that it happens to anyone.  And it kills me when anyone discredits it, even when they don't think they are doing it.

 

That book I mentioned helps a ton!  If you can please read it.  It won't be an easy read...but it might be the best book you've ever read.
