So, you're headed to Mexico for a week without R??  How are you going to do it??

DH is trying to talk me into a vacation without A, but I think a couple of days will be hard, let alone a week.  I'm almost considering Vegas AGAIN so we'll only be gone for 3-4 days... Or we'll do Hawaii for a week and take DS... it's all really up in the air, but I need to escape from the cold.

Have you figured out where in Mexico you're going yet?

We had talked about this trip while I was pg so I have had some time to get used to the idea.  I am still not totally comfortable with the idea of leaving him completely.    We are going to go to Cancun but I think Puerta Vallarta might be better because of a shorter flight from here.  I have pumped like crazy so I think I have enough milk stored, or I will anyway.  H's mom is going to come up and stay for the week.  She is so stoked to have R to herself for the week. 

I kind of wish that we were going somewhere that we could bring him but that would defeat the purpose of cutting loose and sleeping in.

I am going to bring my pump so I can hopefully keep my supply up.  (Just to pump and dump)

The 2 feet of snow we just got really made me realize how much I am going to enjoy and need this trip!

First off- I'm so jealous, in a healthy way , that you have been able to pump enough to leave for a whole week! 

We went to Puerto Vallarta last year- I was 12-13 weeks pg and spent the whole vacay in the bathroom peeing and puking- ick.  The west coast is definitely a shorter flight, but from friends who've been to both, the east coast is sooo much nicer.  It's probably worth a bit longer of a flight.

I think we'll probably opt for a 3-day getaway for just the two of us- I just hope we can get somewhere warm.  My mom is more than willing to take Aiden for the week- I just don't think I can do it.

We've only got a skiff of snow, but between the freezing rain and our craaazy wind here, we need OUT.

You should go to SanFrancisco.  Shorter flight, lots to do in 3 or 4 days and nice weather!

Yeah- I suggested San Fran- DH wasn't too keen, but if I found some things to do that he'd be into, I could probably sway him.
