I think it's amazing how different the twins are from eachother. I hate to say it but Maddy is kind of a brat but Cara is so laid back. How do you handle a little one like Maddy who is so dramatic? Makes me kind of nervous to have a girl!

I was watching them last night and thought the same thing. The sixtuplets are way more well behaved than the twin girls. Their whining just irritates the hell out of me. DH sided with the twins and said it must be hard for them to have to deal with six younger bro/sis all the time. I definitely think Maddy needs an attitude check (but I say this and I don't have kids...so I don't really know how tough it can be!)

Well, you don't tolerate brattiness. Period. The only attitude allowed in this house is Mama's. Maddy wouldn't last long here, I'm afraid. I don't put up with eyerolling, "that" tone or talking back. Lucy is a very easygoing kid, but she does tend to get dramatic. If I were Jon & Kate, anything intentional like Maddy's ridiculous behavior would definitely merit an essay on the importance of a cheerful heart. However, her parents are prone to tantrums, so of course she's going to be a beast. I'm guessing that by Kate's example, most of their girls are going to be quite a handful.

Not all girls are brats though- my mom tells me I was very compliant and easygoing and obedient. Hope you get that kind! :-)

Very good point! I can not imagine what Kate must go through with all those kids but her personallity isn't always pleasant. Maddy gets away with too much when it comes to her attitude. Yes kids have tantrums and crying moments but she is just a brat unfortunatley.
