Flying with DC...

For those of you who have flown with your DC, did you take DC on your lap or did you buy the seat and put them in their car seat?  Thanks in advance!

We didn't purchase a seat but the flight was not full so we were able to bring the infant seat on the plane.

I was thinking the same and not purchasing a seat.  DH is paranoid and wanted a seat but it's a short flight to Lake Tahoe.  My mom told him that she flew all the time with us on her lap and it was fine.  Thanks ladies!

I have flown twice so far leave again on Friday and have another trip booked for the beginning of Jan with my DD.  I just do lap, but take it from me, you either need a boppy pillow, a big fluffy blanket or a regular pillow, because it is hard just sitting there holding them, especially if they fall asleep and are dead weight and you have nothing to help take up the slack.....

We did not buy the seat. DS sat in our lap on the full flight in his Boppy (like in your signature. He also sat in his Boppy on the flight where they gave us our own row because the flight wasn't full.
