we aren't sharing our names at all at this point, but we kinda have decided on a girls name and we are so so so far away from deciding on a boys name!!!
Girls names have always come easier for us. With the girls, I never had a boy name, but a girl name was always set before we knew the sex. With this one, we were set on a girl name and had some boy names that we were toying with. Once we found out that it's a boy, it was tough to decide on a name. There are still doubtful days.
We didn't really start talking about names until a couple of weeks before my big u/s. We quickly agreed on a boy name but were not even close to agreeing on a girls name. In fact, my DH is still trying to convince me on his girls name just in case we ever have a DD in the future.
Before we found out what we were having, we argued about names for weeks. I thought we'd never pick one. Strangely, as soon as we found out it was a girl, we had a name within hours.

We are nowhere close to coming to a decision. ?I figure we'll wait until we know the sex, then we can just focus on agreeing on one name instead of two (which has proven to be quite difficult thus far!)

You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
Boys names are really really hard. ?We had a girls name picked out before our big U/S at 19 weeks, but not until after that did we narrow down a boy's name. We have two we like, but we haven't decided yet.
Even though I'm not pregnant... I've always wanted to name a boy after my dad, but it doesn't work with our last name. ?So dh decided on a name similar to it and it stuck. ?He vetoes all of the girl names.?

We were in exactly the same position until about a week ago. I've LOVED my girl name (Sophia Grace) since I was little, so that was a no brainer. I just wish it wasn't so darn popular. Boys names however were an issue. I'm starting to convince DH that it should be Carter. He suggested Tyler, which I don't hate. But I would definitely prefer my idea.
Don't argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level then beat you with experience. - Mrs. G
We had Allie picked out a few weeks before we knew she was a girl. Then the week I had her DH decided he was unsure. She was not named until 9 hours after she was born. He finally decided again Allie Brooke was the best choice.
DH wouldn't even look at names until we found out what we were having. That next week I made a list of all my favorites, he vetoed the ones he hated, ended up with two we both liked and chose one. I was surprised it actually ended being that easy!
I've known since i was a little girl that if I ever have a daughter, she will be named Elyse (my middle name) Dh loves my middle name so he's okay with it. I wanted the middle name Claire to go with it. But now Im thinking Evelyn Elyse now and call her Eve or Evey for short. My grandmothers name was Evelyn and she passed away last July.
As far as a boy, Dh and I have NEVER agreed on a boys name til recently. We have decided on Hayden. Middle name is a toss up because I want to use Dh's middle name (thomas) So Hayden Thomas...but Dh doesnt really like his middle name, but I do!
I'm pretty sure she'll be born without a name. We started "debating" (or arguing!) about names at about 6 weeks. I thought it would be easier when we found out the sex, but it has proven to be worse!

Eventhough we aren't pregnant yet we still bounce names off eachother when one pops in our head. Girls names are much easier so we haven't given it as much thought. I have quite a few boys names I like but DH has vetoed them all. I said Dexter one day jokingly and it's grown on both of us. I know it's not a name that's loved by most but I don't care.
We're pretty sure this little girl will be born and still not have a definitive name. We've been tossing around some, but are being incredibly indecisive.
