Any good peanut butter cookie

Re: Any good peanut butter cookie

  • Good lord is G adorable (as always)! I'm on my BB right now, so I can't give you the link, but get on the crisco recipe and use the one that uses butter flavored crisco. I swear by the butter crisco for chocolate chip, sugar, and peanut butter cookies. I teach cooking to high schoolers and these recipes have been pretty much fool proof, a AND the best tasting ones I have tried.

  • This is the ONLY thing I use crisco for. You can buy it in sticks so it won't go back. They look kind of like a stick of butter with the pre measurements on it. Hold on. I know where my other recipe for pb cookies might be before I started using this one.

  • I am loving thise site. I have to buy some crisco.  all the jelly cookies, appricot bars.  I am salivating!
  • Warning: my black berry won't let Me format this how I normally would. Tis is the recipe we used growing up. I won grand champion at the county fair with this recipe when I was like 8. 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp baking soda 1 and 1/2 cup flour. Pre heat oven 350. Grease cookie sheet. Mix butter and peanut butter. Add white sugar and brown sugar. Add egg. Mix. Add soda and flour. Mix. Knead dough until smooth and forms a ball. Roll heaping tablespoon of dough into a ball. Place balls about 2 inches apart. Flatten with fork. Bake 15 minutes or until light brown. Recipe came from library cook book. Said to allow the child to completely mix dough with hands.

Preheat oven 375. Combine all ingredients except candy in large bowl. Mix on lowest speed of mixer until dough forms. Shape dough into balls using rounded teaspoonful or each. Place on un greased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven. Firmly press kiss into each cookie. Now each are made with love and sealed with a kiss. (Lol at the last part.
