What do you know about Charting??????

Any good sites? I'm new to this so I have no clue where to begin. Also I looked up when I should be fertile and it is saying Dec 9-15th. My period began Nov. 30th but just now ended yesterday (the 6th) which is about 2 days longer then normal. Will this affect my fertile days in anyway. The calculator I used for that only asked when my period began and how long my total cycle which is usually 26 days. (it said nothing about how long my period was)  Does it matter that my actual period was longer then normal?

  • I liked fertilityfriend.com  Sorry I can't really answer any of your other questions.

  • I have TCOYF and just charted on paper on my own.  I was never able to get on FF, but my cousin used it, and it was ALWAYS changing her O date, so she switched to paper charting, too.

  • Taking Charge of Your Fertility (TCOYF) is an awesome book for learning the ins and outs of charting - the best "how to" guide out there.  If you're looking for free paper charts to download, you can go to ovusoft.com and find them there (I think under downloads, but I can't remember).

fertilityfriend.com was my preferred way of charting online (over the ovusoft software, which is also available at the ovusoft.com website). Fertility friend has a great online charting tutorial that covers a lot of what TCOYF does, but just online (I really recommend getting the book though - soo helpful!)

I don't believe the length of your period should have too much of an impact on your overall cycle length (but I could be wrong).

If your period just ended, you could start taking your temperature now each morning at the same time, using a basal thermometer (they're more accurate).

    GL :)
