With my DS, you could tell I was pregnant around 12 weeks.  Now with this one I'm showing already!!!!  I was hoping it was just bloat, but 5 days later, it's still there.  Looks like the Bella Band is right around the corner......

I just thought I would tell you how adorable your son is.  I can't even imagine how small 1 lb 14 oz must have been!

Thank you!!!!  Yeah, he was pretty small.  His upper body was as long as my index finger.  My DH's family came in for the holidays and brought their teacup chiuaua (sp??)  I told them that this time last year he was smaller than their dog!!  That kind of put the situation into perspective for them.

Your son is a cutie!  1lb 14oz? Wow.  I was 2.5lb way back when I was born and I thought that was small!

And if it makes you feel better, I was using a bella band by 8 weeks, and this is my first.

My first pregnancy I was excited when I started to show.  Now this time around, I'm afraid to show because I wonder if this pregnancy will be cut short as well.  But I just have to tell myself to enjoy every moment and pray I make it full-term this time!!

what is the differance in the 2 ages if you dont mind me asking?!?

i'm super duper excited your expecting #2!! thats so exciting. I hear that showing earlier with #2 is really common. I believe doodles showed way early with her 2nd too.
