Question about throwing up

My inlaws watched DS and my neice last night together in our house.  My neice, who is 1, threw up in our pack n play last night.  She only threw up one time.  I am planning on disinfecting the pnp, but she had her mouth on a ton of DS's toys and stuff.  If she had a virus, wouldn't she have been throwing up all night??  I am just wondering if he may catch something, or if she just threw up for some other reason???

    Was it mucousy and perhaps she's got nasal drip? I would clean the toys just for peace of mind

    I wasn't there to witness it, but I know she hasn't had a cold or any cold symptoms.  It was actually really weird.
