Cough?

Matthew has had a little cough the past two days, really nothing harsh.  I have a sinus infection, he has no fever, and is playing and eating well.  Any advice?  Just sit in the shower with him and run the humidifier?  I called the pediatrician but haven't heard back from him yet.  Umm, label me a paranoid new mom
