I know it's totally silly, and like the chinese calendar there is a fifty/fifty chance of it being right...but...Have you done this?  What were the results?

 I've done it a number of times, first time before I was even pg with my first.  Each time it says boy, girl, girl.  Supposedly it counts miscarriages, so as long as this pregnancy sticks we're done and it's a girl...according to this.  Interesting, very interesting.  We shall see!

If you're in for a bit of fun and don't take things too seriously, give it a shot.

If you don't know what it is, there are two versions, the version I did is this...

Put your ring on a string, hold it over your hand with palm facing up, "dip" the ring 3 times on each side of your hand then hold it above your palm.  If it swings back and forth it's a boy, goes in a circle it's a girl.  It's supposed to do this over and over for how many pregnancies you supposedly will have.  

 Remember, it's just for fun!  So all you haters out there, don't worry, I'm not planning my entire life around this! 

So...what are your results???

Mine told me girl when I did this in 1st tri, but I'm having a boy.

Mine is confusing, it does both kinda, it starts off as a circle and then goes into a straight line, (or I can't tell them appart)

mine went in a line at first and then a circle. does that mean boy/girl twins!?? lol

When I do it it says boy and then girl.  It was right (it's my first pregnancy).  I use a needle and thread.  You rub the needle up and down on the side of your hand and then let it dangle.  I also did it on my DH and it showed the same thing.

I've done this too many times & it always says girl, boy, boy, girl!

Oh my gosh, mine does the same thing!!!!! And you are having twins, (I know twins run in my dads side of the family, I thought they had to be maternal) Hmm...... I am so curious now!

i've done it and the results are always confusing and it just keeps going and going - so unless i'm destined to turn into Michelle Duggar or something I can't seem to get clear results.

My DH has always talked about this.  He loves it!  But the way he does it is hang the ring/string over yout belly when you are laying down, then depending on which way it moves (circle or line) its a boy/girl.  But as much as he encourages other pg ladies to try it, we haven't tried it yet.  Something fun to do for entertainment this weekend I guess.
