DD USED to go to bed without a peep

Ever. Now she really fights it - crying when we leave her room. I can tell it's only a cry of "what am I missing? I'm not ready to leave the fun", but still, she can keep it up for quite a while, sometimes getting more worked up. Is this a sign I should be doing a later bedtime or anything?

Re: DD USED to go to bed without a peep

  • My son won't cry or get worked up but some nights he will stall and need more milk, need to be tucked in, need a certain toy etc.  I find if he naps too long during the day those are the nights we have issues.  If he has no nap or a short nap he goes right down without a peep.  Does she still nap?
  • Yes, she naps at school & badly needs it. She has always LOVED her sleep. I know this is more about not wanting to go to bed. It's annoying.
