hey i just read your post re:down syndrome. ?ryan is 1/2 korean too (i'm korean). ?anyway, these past couple days i can't stop thinking about how i wish i knew everything was going to be o.k. when we initailly had the positive afp and then confirmation once ryan was born. ?at the time you just feel like the world is crashing in on you and it's so overwhelming. ?but now 17 months later, i almost have to laugh at myself b/c who would have thought i was so worried and stressed over nothing! ?what a true blessing these little guys are!!

Yeah I so wish that I could go back and tell myself that everything was going to be fine. I knew a little bit about Downs having dated someone who had a family member with it. But that was it..I thought my life was over. I was so upset for my son and what I thought was going to be the life that was going to have. But the more research we did and the more we fell in love with the little guy we knew everything is going to be ok..

Yeah there are days when I get pissed and upset b/c I cant keep up with his therapies and just want to make it all go away but in the grand scheme of things, its not as bad or as hard as I thought it was going to be and I wouldnt change a thing about Calebs life!
