What toys have you bought that you thought your DC was

going to love, but ended up not liking that much? 

For me, I think it was the FP Learning Home.  He played with it, but not as much as I thought he would have.  Any child that came over to our house usually loved it, but my child didn't give it as much attention as I thought he would have.

Oh my gosh....DD loved the laugh and learn home.  We had it out for 1.5 years before putting it away.  I finally just put it away for space and she played with it less but she still went to it every now and then.

For us, it was probably the Animal Train.  I can't remember exactly what it was called but you put it connects and you buy the animals to ride in the train.  There's buttons on the front that you push to make it roll or just play songs.  She was not into that thing at all.

Pretty much every toy we have. She doesn't seem to be a big toy person and uses DH and I as her toys most of the time.

He adores the Learning Home and has since he got it for Christmas last year.

R LOVES the FP Learning Home, so we bought the Learning kitchen...She played with in for 2 minutes and never touched it again.

This really awesome BMW ride on we got him. I bought it off craigslist from an Army wife who had just been to Germany. She had gotten it from the BMW dealership in Germany for 100 euros. I only paid $20. DS never rides it until his cousins want to play with it.

His sit and spin and rocking horse.  He used his sit and spin a few times when we first got it and now it collects dust.  He hated the horse from day one and is still scared of it.

The Jump and Spin Zebra. Sat on it maybe five or six times total. he's not really a toy kid, though.

I snagged an Elmo TMX 2 Christmas' ago when they were all the rage. Worst. toy. ever.

What makes it worse is that it was probably her most expensive toy, and also what I could have sold it for on ebay

Ditto on the Bounce & Spin Zebra for DD#2.  The sit & Spin for #1...both space hogs & not used hardly at all.
