you know those stringy things that sometimes stick to the banana as you pull the peel back.

I hate those.

Agreed - they need to go.  That and the blackish nobby piece on the bottom - I always break it off before eating.  Yuck.

I have deep rooted hatred for celery strings. Banana strings I can handle but I avoid celery at all costs b/c of the strings.
