How much to spend on daycare provider?

How much are you all spending on your daycare providers?  My lady has her own daycare out of her house.  I was thinking of doing a $50 gift certificate, but DH thought it was too much.  His reasoning is that we already give her enough money every two weeks.  =P

We are doing $25 per teacher in DD's class - she has 3.

I was going to spend around $25 for each person, but there are so many people who rotate through the room that i didn't want to leave anyone out.  I ended up just spending $100 on a huge popcorn/candy basket for everyone to share.

I was thinking of spending $30-$40.  DS also goes to an inhome DC.

I dont think spending $50 on the person that is with your child 40 plus hours a week is too much.

Ditto PP.  My DH and I just talked about this and we used the same reasoning.  I think we are going  to give  $50.  She is so worth it!
