We had our 6 month check with the pedi yesterday and some of the info the doctor gave us said you can give a baby Lily's age a bagel or toast -- that they like to chew on it because it helps with teething, and that it is something new to eat. Do you do this?

Re: Giving 6 mo old a bagel or toast?
We did that with DS. We would give him bread like when we went out to eat and at home he would get some bagels. We did this until he learned how to take big bites out of it and now we just give him little pieces at a time to eat vs chew on.
I'm too worried to give her things like this right now also. She's just eating baby food.
They also make organic ones that you can get at Whole Foods:
