We are really rolling along...

After our paperwork was "lost" for over a month, we are rolling right along.

We finished our required training, and then we were finally assisgned a resource worker.

In the few days after we were assigned a worker we have the following DONE:

+ Personal references mailed by worker (confirmed by friend)
+ Physicals Done (medical references done)
+ Fingerprints Done
+ First Home Visit (lots and lots of paperwork)
+ Employment reference mailed by worker
+ docs submited (drivers license, registration, car insurance, birth certs, marriage certs)
+ Individual interviews sceduled for next week

We also previously submited our financials, etc with our application

It has been a busy week.  We also started shopping around for a crib and a twin mattress - we need at least one of each because we are open to ages 0-5 yrs old.

We also cleared out "the room" and organized everything into the attic.  It worked out great, my husband is off all this week so we were able to get a lot done.

At this rate, we could very well be licensed by the end of the year.  Holy Moly.

WOW...you are really moving fast now...Congrats!!

I do have to say reading all that made me super nervous for some reason.  I guess knowing what is coming. Ugh, Paperwork

You guys are doing great!!  I remember the long trail of paperwork we had to get together for our home study.  It took a lot of work and effort, but in the end it paid off.
