Publix is fabulous!

When I was having lunch at the local Mexican place, I ran into the manager at our local publix.  I have never met the guy before, but he was sitting next to me at lunch with another Publix manager and they were talking shop, so I figured out who he was.

When I was leaving, I ask him what the story was with my inability to find diaper doublers.  He took my name and number and just called me back.  He said they were going to discontinue them, but had some left in their warehouse and he would order a bunch of them for me!

He will even have someone call me when they come in.

Talk about nice ;-)

am i being stupid by asking what  a diaper doubler is?

It is an insert that goes in a regular diaper to keep it from leaking overnight.  It is $3.00 for 30 day supply, instead of the $15 or $20 for regular overnight diapers and you don't have to stock two different kinds.

I love Publix too, and can't wait to move back to FL to shop there again.  There is no store that even comes close to how nice it is.  The closest thing, I guess, is the local chain called Ukrops....but even though they are nice...it's NOT Publix by a long shot.
