Eddie's birthday is Friday and his favorite cake is ice cream cake and we want to try cold stone this year. Done baskin robbins and safeway, and we're just not impressed with either.
We had one for Cam's 1st birthday ( for the adults ) and it was SUPER yummy ! We mixed a raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream. My girlfriend owns two of them with her hubbie so we will most likely get one every year to support their business
I HIGHLY recommend a Carvel Ice Cream cake. I think there's a shop somewhere in Oakland maybe? Being from the East coast I had them every year for my bday in July. When we moved to CA, the first year, all I wanted was a carvel ice cream cake. My husband found one, drove an hour to get it for me, it was the best birthday ever!! haha.
Re: Anyone had a cold stone cake?
WHAT?? how the heck can you be unimpressed with a B&R Ice cream cake?? they are the ORIGINAL! (can you tell I worked for B&R in HS? Loyal to the end!)
but nope...never had a cold stone one.

You know who has an awesome ice cream cake? Dairy Queen. They are so frickin' good.
Do they still have Dairy Queens out there? Or is it just out here in cow country?

And I got a coupon in the mail today that said they have a couple seasonal flavors out right now too. Yum!
