S/O: What did DH want to be when he was a kid?

DH wanted to be a firefighter!

DH hated school and the local police department had some sort of "junior cadet" program where you could get out of school if you joined. He did it just to get out of class, but he turned out to love it and it's the only job he's ever had. He's been a cop for 21 years now (yeah, he's old).

He wanted to be and was trying to get to be an Astronaut.  It was when he found out he was color blind that it ended.

football player   He has said "if only I was a little taller, I could have made it "  He's good, but I don't know if the NFL is ready for him.

Baseball player, but his parents blew it when they moved him to my tiny little town where the coaches play their favorites. Then he really blew it when he tore his ACL playing softball. Now he has absolutely no ACL and can't play any sports, even for fun on the weekends.

He wanted to be an artist. ?He even entered college as an art major but ended up with a masters in Computer Science and a masters in International Relations. ?Now, he is a computer nerd, with an artsy flare

an astronaut or pilot - he started college going for an aeronautics degree, ended up with history/polysci majors and now works in computers. Go figure.

A doctor...probably because his Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfathers were all doctors.  He applied to medical school...but didn't get in.  So...he's an engineer instead (mechanical and biomedical).  He had to have something after 7 years of college!

He wanted to work at his dad's business. He does and he loves taking Owen out on the floor with the safety googles on..just as he did as a kid. He ran around the same plant when he was little. So cute!
