What kind of thermometer do you use?

I think mine is dying (I've been using the same one for 3 years).  DH thinks I should get an ear thermometer, but I don't think they are as accurate.

I think the basal body themometers are best.  I just use the CVS brand.  Nothing fancy, but it works.

For charting?  I just got the CVS brand BBT.

For regular temp?  Whatever they have at the drug store should work.

I read on consumer reports that ear thermometers are not as accurate.  I just got a new one from CVS to replace on that died and it works great.
