Possibly moving to KY - any reco's?

Hi all,

There is a possibility that my husband will be transferred from Southern CA to the Erlanger area.  This will be a HUGE adjustment as we were both born & raised in SoCal, but the opportunity isn't one we can pass up.

Any advice on areas to live in?  Local mommy & me groups?  Local websites?  Etc.

Just want to start researching.  Thanks!

Oy.  This is the saddest local board ever!  I'm from the Louisville area, but Erlanger is basically a suburb of Cincinnati.  My DH is from Cincy - it's a neat place, kid-friendly.  Has the conveniences of a larger city.  The biggest adjustment will probably be the weather.  It gets pretty darned cold here.  Right now it's well below freezing.
