That is me right now - I am so stuffy today and my throat is killing me. And I just got over the stomach bug DS had. I lost 8 lbs.
DH's project is temporarily on hold due to the credit crisis. It is a lot of money, and the hospital is worried about tying up all of their cash if credit stays tight. So right now he is on hold, which is sort of good, but if he ends up with no projects he could either end up out of a job (unlikely) or they could send him anywhere in the country that they do have work, which would be really bad. So we are playing the waiting game.
Blech.
I hope you feel better soon, and that we aren't in a constant cycle of sicknesses until March.
Oh that stinks! My DH is in construction/ag now and they are super slow. They are hoping things pick back up in a month. Its a little scary out there right now!
It is scary. My company is indirectly tied to the building industry also, so we're both a little nervous. Our outlook for next year is not so bright.
I've been sort of looking for a job, but without knowing what my situation is going to be, it is a little hard. Plus, if I did get laid off, I would get a pretty nice severance package, so I almost think it's better to wait it out.
Re: ****G_Hoping****
Hi! I am good! The boys are excellent...we are well entrenched in ear infection season. Haha.
I quit my old job and now I am working part time (3 days a week) at a place only 30 minutes from my house! (I was driving 1.5 hours before!).
I love it! I am much happier now..I can't believe how much of my life I had wasted the last 6 years.
Glad you are doing much better. I remember you had a horrific commute.
This cold and flu season is hitting us hard - this is DS's first year in preschool so he seems to be getting everything - and then giving it to me.
LOL. No kidding..as I sit here not being able to breathe. THey give it all to me..and DH never gets sick.
Hows your DH's further away project going?
