This is what we made the wknd before Thanksgiving, it was SO easy and I think it turned out really cute. Too bad he kept making silly faces... this is the best pic I could get of him in it...
Really cute! And he looks adorable no matter what faces he's making!
Not sure if you're a christmas celebrant but if you're looking for a similar idea for that, you can use green paint and do two handprints upside down (one overlapping the other) to make a christmas tree. Then use fingerprints for the decorations, and a thumb print for the trunk.

oh love that! We did reindeer yesterday with foot and hand print, but I wasn't 100% in love with them. We might have to try this today!

Viva!! I WAS looking for a Christmas idea one!! I'll have to try to google it and find a pic...
Springmom-- I'd love to see that too, adding to my google list!
I can't seem to find an example that was done the way I've done them. Most have LOTS of handprints but look equally as cute. I just didn't have that much space!
Here's another cute idea - wreath. And in Google Images I also saw a very creative bat for halloween!

Another good idea. I'm sure it looks adorable! We may just have to make those for the grandparents...
