Rec. your top of stairs gate

We installed the Evenflo basic wooden one (under $40) and most likely due to user error, it's all screwy and doesn't operate smoothly. We even had a handyman do it because he was out at the house doing some other stuff anyway! It's not aligned properly and it makes it really hard to use.

So I want to get a different one that might be easier to properly install. Suggestions?

We got the KidCo angle mount gate from One Step Ahead. We have banisters that don't line up evenly.
