Tables and Trains

Would you say that pretty much any table is compatible with any train set?  I got the Circo train/activity table on sale at Target this weekend.  It's nice that it has storage and the table top flips over from a plain activity table to a train scenery thing.  My sister has every Thomas the Train item imaginable  (except for the table because after three kids it was useless) and she's giving them all to DS since her kids are done with them.  So since she has these I didn't bother with the Circo train sets.
