Flu shot and coughing

G got the first dose of the flu shot on wed and since then he has been coughing and sneezing.  it gets worse with every day.  this is the first flu shot that he has ever gotten.  is that normal?

My guess would be that it's a coincidence. The flu vaccine isn't live, so it can't make him sick... but it's that time of year so maybe he's got a cold coming on?

L got the FluMist up her nose which made her a little stuffy, but I think it's a live virus (and also was put up her nose), so that was to be expected.
