Painful problem...

I doubt this has anything to do with my bra, since i've never had a problem in the past, but I'm in some fricken pain. ?Under my right breast I have some sort of irritation--think little blisters, and lots of redness. ?It hurts really bad. ?I don't know what to do-- i've been trying neosporin. ?i really need a bra on (nursing, and i hate going without anyways)... ?also, my whole breast hurts, especially when nursing. ?i don't know what to do! ?any suggestions??? ??

Re: Painful problem...

  • Is the irritation from the same bra?  I thought I heard something awhile back about Victoria Secret bras that were causing women to blister and have irritated skin.  Maybe someone else knows more?
  • i wore my bras while nursing dd1 as well... i've never had a problem with them. ?
  • Loading the player...
  • One of my bras started buggin me (right side, too).  Can you maybe switch to a nursing tank and see if that helps?  Are the bras underwire?
  • Try cornstarch. I had a friend who was dealing with [what sounds like] the same thing and it turned out to be some sort of yeast infection. I know it sounds strange, but she said cornstarch cleared it right up.
  • It sounds like a yeast infection. Try lotrimin cream.

If it is yeast, the LAST thing you should use is cornstarch-- starch feeds yeast and you will never get rid of it.
