does this line sound okay?

I'm making our Christmas card... I have a pic of my kids looking quite bored in matching Christmas pjs... below I put

"Is he here yet? 

We hope you made it on the good list! Merry Christmas!"

 

Does that sound right?  Dh doesn't like the good list line.  Any suggestions?  Or should we just leave it out (I don't think that reads right)?

I think I would just leave it out.......it just doesn't sound right.

I might put "Is Santa here yet?"

I might change the second line to "Hope your holiday is worth the wait" or something like that, so that the two lines go together more.

But I think the bored kids is an adorable idea!

thanks... I don't like it either way... hmmmm....

 

so the top of the card already says "Merry Christmas"... then the pic... then the "is he here yet?".  

 

Should I write Merry Christmas again or just sign it off with with Lots of love, us... ??? The templates are never just as I would like. lol.  I am overthinking this... doesn't help that I just chugged down a stella.
