My homemade soup is all over the kitchen!

My homemade potato-leek soup exploded over the kitchen when I went to blend it. How was I supposed to know that our new blender disconnected from the bottom in a strange blender way?? Well, we saved enough for two bowls... Sighh....

So much for being a domestic goddess.

I make roasted eggplant soup, and learned from experience that putting hot liquids in a blender led to explosion. ?So when we got married we got an immersion blender! it goes right into the pot and no more mess!
