Waaaah!

I just finished watching Steel Magnolias. Dh laughed and asked why I was crying so hard. I said, between blubbering, "Because I'm having a girl!" Ah, those hormones. I cry every time I see it anyway!

Re: Waaaah!

  • I have never seen the movie and NOT cried.  I don't even watch it anymore, or I turn it off at the wedding shower part because I can't go any further!

  • Confession:

I have never seen Steel Magnolias. And I call myself southern.

    Let the flaming begin!

  • LOL. I haven't seen that movie in years, but I do recall crying when I watched it.

  • I can't imagine watching the movie pregnant. I think I would cry from start to finish just because I know what is going to happen.

  • Yeah, I bawled like a baby too.

DH has learned not to be phased by my emotional outbursts.  I cried at movies before, but now it's out of control!

  • Have you seen "Terms of Endearment"???  You'll be slicing your wrists at the end of that movie.  I can't even see commercials for it.......
  • Got ya beat...

We were watching Grosse Point Blank and at the reunion John Cusack was holding a baby boy and he was looking at him and this smile grew across the baby's face.

I started crying. DH just said a big "AWWW" and laughed, but tried to say he wasn't laughing.

    He was totally laughing.

So, yeah, leave it to me to cry at a black comedy about a hired killer.
