so my baby is a boy and my EDD is 4/17. My nephew is 4 and was born in March. My sister is giving us all her clothes from him (she has a new baby, but he is exactly 6 months off his brothers age, so all his baby clothes have to be new cause they are the wrong season). She wants me to put this message on my registry so people don't just buy me clothes since I will have a TON of clothes from her:
Thanks to cousins Jackson and Carter, we are all set for clothes!
I really WANT to put this on there, and I feel like its the lease rude way to say it, but I want a objective opinion. Thanks!
Re: what do you think about this?
Personally, I wouldn't say anything on the registry. My thing with registries is that if people are actually pulling your registry to shop from, you shouldn't have to worry as much about what they are going to buy. It's the people who don't pull your registry to begin with that you have to worry about. LOL
Oh i do not think this is rude at all!! People would rather get you what you need! I would definitely add this to your registry. And the way you stated it is absolutely appropriate.
My cousin gave me all her onesies that are like new, so I put this message on my registry:
We will not need an onesies or bodysuits as we already have enough for the baby's first year.
I honestly think what you are saying is just perfect.
It might be fun to get some new clothes
