cough drops...

I have an annoying tickle in my throat and can't find my approved med list from my dr.  Anything you know to stay away from in cough drops? I'm just sticking to lifesavers for now... but it's getting worse =(

Re: cough drops...

  • I don't have advice for you on this but I definitely need cough drops. I have a horrible scratchy throat and i have no idea why, I don't have any other symptoms. I'm pretty sure they are ok during pg though.

  • my doc says chloraseptic lozenges or spray - but NOT the liquid. You're not getting strep are you?

  • My dr said Halls were fine!
    Lilypie Third Birthday tickers
  • OMG people yes cough drops are fine!
  • read the back of the bag because most cough drops are just sugar and pectin anyway!

  • The list my dr gave me just had Cepacol as approved cough drops.  But they are HORRIBLE!  And about $5 for only 18 of them.  Chloraseptic spray is ok for a sore throat.

Honestly, the next time I need a cough drop I'm taking the halls.
