Back form ER and a little bummed

So the doctor that i love wasn't there today so I to Dr. Nobedsidemanner.  I have not had great experiences w/him before - but have to give him credit - he was much better today. 

The dissappointing part is that they only got 8 eggs.  I had 18 in there on Wednesday ranging from 10-17.  Now I now that I wasn't going to get 18 but I can't help but wonder if they would have gotten more if wam-bam-thank-you-m'aam wasn't doing the procedure.  Did you really TRY to get them all?

Oh well - now I wait for the fert report tomorrow morning.  I was getting ahead of mysefl anyways.  I was hoping to have so many that we would have some to freeze for "next time".  I will just focus on the now...for now

I always thought it was kind of stressful waiting to see which doctor would be there for my ER/ETs.....

I'm sorry you are disappointed, but 8 definitely sounds like a good number!  I hope you have a great fert report to post tomorrow!!

8 is a great number, try to thinl positive, Best of luck and I cannot wait to read your fert report!

The same thing happened to me. I only got 7 eggs from 10 follies. I cried the whole way home. One egg was a dud and only four of the six fertilized. The good news is that the four included one grade A and three grade B. Just because you have 8 does not mean that you won't have good embies.
