How are you feeling?: slowly feeling better each week. Still days of dizziness and exhaustion, but the food aversions are getting better.
Rants/Raves: I set some boundaries with a toxic family member earlier this year, and I reached out to share the news of my pregnancy. It opened up a lot of wounds and the conversation was very difficult/painful, as they likely won’t be in the life of me or my baby, at least for awhile. Hard stuff to face, especially around the holidays.

Questions: anyone else having trouble with weight gain or have tips? I’m struggling to eat enough to put on any extra weight.

Upcoming Appointments: just had my anatomy scan yesterday, which went well! Baby was moving like crazy and growing right on par. We scheduled out appointments through the end of February… anyone else feel like their pregnancy is flying by?

Upcoming Appointments: just had my anatomy scan yesterday, which went well! Baby was moving like crazy and growing right on par. We scheduled out appointments through the end of February… anyone else feel like their pregnancy is flying by?
They also said baby was breech, which I thought was odd since I’m only almost 19 weeks I don’t recall them mentioning this with my son? Assuming it’s fine as my OB didn’t mention it at all 
How are you feeling?: Overall great! My boobs are still so sore & I’m still pretty moody 😇 I’ve been noticeably more hungry the last week.
Rants/Raves: we moved my son into his “big boy room” this past weekend and he has done SO well. My husband and I were anxious on how it would go but my son loves his big bed and has been telling everyone that he has a big boy room 😂 no rants this week yet… but it’s only Tuesday haha

We had our anatomy scan yesterday! I had just eaten lunch before the appointment so baby was moving all over the place, which was so fun to see but also made it harder for the tech to capture everything they needed 😂 I’ve been feeling baby for a little while but still wild to see all the movement I *cant* feel! Got to see lots of movement and have so many photos from this one! 🥰Re: Check in Week of 11/21

@etnyah LOL at baby stopping to move whenever your H tries to feel her. Since I still can't feel anything, I just rely on my doppler to keep me sane. Whenever I use it, H always asks "still in there? Hasn't escaped?" *eyeroll* Enjoy your 2 weeks off!
@shoogapoff I feel your pain re: doula decision! I have so many good ones available to me, and most of them are available but I'm stumped as to how to make a decision! What criteria are you looking for? I meet with one more next week, and then I'll probably have to decide.

Upcoming Appointments: Nothing until my next OB appointment on Dec 9!
How are you feeling?: With exception of sore hips from sleeping on my sides, I'm feeling great! Although, I'd be lying if I said I'm not taking anything to help with sleep. I am, and it's doxylamine (an antihistamine; the active ingredient in Unisom) which is pregnancy-safe and I don't think I could survive without it.
Rants/Raves: I didn't take the week off from work, because I want to enjoy getting a lot of things on my to-do-list done while most people are away! I was super productive today. Hoping for a repeat tomorrow and Wed!
A friend's been visiting since Saturday, and she's staying through until tomorrow. But then I have another friend coming tonight and staying through until Friday. Friend coming today is bringing her new dog (he's a rescue) and apparently he has some behavioral issues so I'm a tad worried that he and my dog won't get along so... my stress level might be high as a result. We shall see.
In other news, I'm getting closer to making a decision re: nursery chair after spending the weekend driving around and trying out a bunch of them. I am actually leaning towards a La-Z-Boy chair since I feel like it's most comfortable for me, and the advice I got here and elsewhere is to prioritize for my comfort.

Rants/Raves: my family is so pumped for our little one to arrive. I'm one of the youngest in my whole family and all of my cousins plus my brother have had so many kids between them. I was a bit sad that I thought my family would be burnt out on babies and not be as excited for me, but man I was wrong! So much love and excitement coming from every person, it is so heartwarming.

@returning_bump_member ahhh I keep trying to get my husband to feel kicks, but it’s like she can sense it’s him and stops right before he puts his hand on my belly every time!! So frustrating. He just laughs and says “you’re lying, there’s no baby in there”. So jealous you’re able to get the timing right!

Introduce yourself: Hi! This will be our 3rd baby and we live in europe.
Due date? 7/7 (for now - estimated based on when i ovulated)
How did you find out? I patiently waited until 9DPO to test and there was a slight line. I was shocked. I didn’t think we had a chance this cycle. TW*** I had a miscarriage in September and so this was my first cycle after. I didnt ovulate until CD44 and then I got a UTI (first ever!) at 2DPO and had to take antibiotics. I was waiting for AF as I had no symptoms at all. So I was very surprised.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My H and I just celebrated our 5 yr wedding anniversary but we have been together for 9 years in February. We have 2 boys: 3 and 16 months and a dog, 12. My puppy was a rescue that I got at 5 and he has travelled all over and lives his best life. We live in Europe but we are originally from Canada. I love travelling, eating food, cooking & baking. I work in global mobility and I relocate people from around the world. I absolutely love it and love that I get to work with so many different types of people!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Faint symptoms which is weird to me. Bloated, tired, off/on back pain. But all could be explained by being a mom to 2 kids and everything. With my 2nd, I had nausea from the day I found out.

How did you find out? I took a test with my husband because I suddenly wasn’t feeling well, and it came back unmistakably positive - I wish this was more exciting of a story!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I have been together for almost 8 years, and we’re really excited to grow our family. We have a corgi who is 4 years old, and she’s always been “the baby”, so now we have to figure out a new nickname for her (alternatively, a new nickname for our upcoming baby)! We have loved being a family of three, and we’re so happy to be growing to a family of four ✨
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally) *TW loss* this will be our rainbow baby - we had an early miscarriage before becoming pregnant this time, so I’m definitely feeling nervous about this bean sticking around. We are both feeling optimistic this time, but having experienced a loss has made us more cautiously excited. Feeling so grateful to be pregnant again though, even through the nausea and fatigue! 😅

There were a few views that were unclear, so we’re going back on 12/12 for another scan. The doctor said that I shouldn’t stress and that everything they were able to see today looked perfect. Oh, and it was confirmed that I have an anterior placenta. She was kicking, turning around, grabbing her toes…I barely felt a flutter lol.
How are you feeling?: I feel pretty good. I’m having some minor back pain. My husband ordered me a new pregnancy pillow (The Baby Bub?). Hopefully, it will make sleeping a little more comfortable.
Rants/Raves: My rave this week is that it’s my birthday on Friday! I love having a birthday close to Thanksgiving. It makes it so easy to celebrate with family.
