QOTW: Doing anything to honor veterans day or want to share any veterans that you are thinking about today?
Me (42) w/ partner for 16+ years
TTC #1: 11/2012 - 9/2013; 6/2014 - present
Follistim + TI (3x): All BFNs
Follistim + IUI (1x): BFN
IVF #1: 17 retrieved,15 fertilized, Day 3: 15, Day 5/6: 3 biopsied
Preparing for a frozen embryo transfer. I had my lining check appt on Monday. All looks good and it is ready! The transfer is scheduled for next Tuesday. So will be transitioning with meds over the next week -- stop lupron on thursday, start progesterone on friday and tapering the estrogen patches along the way.
Mostly just hoping for the best! Honestly its such a long build up to the transfer that it gets hard to transition emotions, but i suspect it will start to feel more real after the transfer.
QOTW - I am enjoying my day off today. Nothing particular planned. We are thinking of my partner's great grandfather who fought in WWI.
btw - finally can access the site on my laptop again. Although the formatting is really goofed up, but the basics seem to work. Anyone else having this issue?

2. TTC #1, not preventing since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14 (two losses in 2014)
3. OPKs, temping, prenatals, evening primrose oil, CoQ10, probiotics, Vit D, fish oil, Myo-inositol, D-Chiro-Inositol, cayenne, flaxseed oil. Cabergoline to bring down my prolactin levels and some nasty herbal concoction twice a day from the acupuncturist. First cycle doing letrozole and Ovidrel trigger shot.
4. CD8, waiting to O.
5. Feeling a bit blah right now as I'm getting over a cold and having some headaches from the letrozole. Going in for my ultrasound this Sunday to see how many follicles I've developed. If it all looks good, I do the trigger shot and then TI. I've been feeling pretty hopeful since this is my first medicated cycle and I'm excited to see what happens.
No veterans that I know personally but today is my dad's bday so I'm thinking of him.
Good luck everyone! We need some BFPs soon!!
ME: 36 (PCOS), DH: excellent SA NTNP since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14

2. TTC #1, 3rd cycle? 4th cycle? Not good if I'm already losing track....
3. OPKs, temping/charting, Pregnitude, preseed. Tried cutting out caffeine and alcohol. Managed to get down to two cups of coffee per day and not so successful at alcohol (I usually have one drink a night).....that's a work in progress.
4. 4dpo, trying not to test until at least 12 dpo
5. Hopeful, but I was under a ton of stress at the beginning of my cycle due to the issue with the roof contractor. Hopefully that didn't affect anything.
QOTW: Nothing special, I work today. Both my grandfathers were in WWII. DHs dad was in the Dutch Army when he was younger (his parents are from Holland). I also did a couple of clinical rotations at the VA when I was in nursing school, so I have a soft spot in my heart for vets.
Married: 7/9/15 Me: 37, DH: 36 Started TTC #1: 9/2015 Preliminary labs/testing @ 6 months: TSH, A1c, progesterone, prolactin, SA, HSG all normal BFP: 5/19/2016, M/C: 5/29/2016 BFP: 6/22/2016 EDD 3//6/2017
@dolphin012 - GOOD LUCK!! You're transferring your two day 3 embryos, right? God, I know I asked this before. Not sure why I can't remember. Your FET seems to be going on forever!! (for me, at least)
@agriffen92013 - good luck at the RE tomorrow! I hope you get some answers and a plan!
@jilligan14 - I'm so excited for your medicated cycle. Everything is crossed for you!
(Edited because I typed "our" medicated cycle. HAHA!)
@PattersRN - cutting our caffeine and alcohol took me a while. Caffeine was harder for me, I had to cut back SLOWLY!! But, with my first, I didn't cut it out and I still got pregnant, so I'm not sure why I'm being so strict this time. Probably because we've been trying for so freaking long. I keep saying if this doesn't happen soon, I'll have cut out all food.
1. EmsMama15 (Heather) from MN
2. TTC #2 for a long time...
3. IVF #1 starting Nov 27. I'm also finishing up a green smoothie cleanse and actually feel amazing. Going back to normal food but going to try to stay off sugar and gluten, high protein, no caffeine, no alcohol. Supplements: CoQ10, myo-inositol, Vit D, Prenatal vitamins, Fish oil.
4. Not sure, on BCPs till 11/22.
5. Getting VERY excited for IVF to start. I'm ready to move forward. Sadly, I was thinking about the little blurb I'd put in our Christmas card this year and realized we've done nothing exciting this year since a trip to Jackson Hole in January. WTH? Our lives have just been on hold.
QOTW: Nothing much, just thinking of all the amazing men and women who sacrifice every day for our country.
*** Child & current pregnancy mentioned ***
Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)

12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl!
1. Rita from Central California 2. TTC#2 for over a year, multiple MC's and a CP 3. Doing OPKs and will start progesterone and baby aspirin after I ovulate 4. On CD 18, think I'll probably ovulate tomorrow or the next day based on my Wondofo OPKs (line is basically as dark as the control so if i didn't have my LH surge already I probably will soon). 5. I'm excited for this cycle sine we are trying something new this time (progesterone). Fingers and toes crossed it will work.
QOTW: staying home with my DD today since day care is closed for the holiday. My uncle is a veteran and so was my Grandpa so hats off to them
Gearing up for IVF in early January. It looks like it will all be done by the second week! But for now, I'm taking this cycle off, getting a saline sonogram next week, as well as pap smear and counseling session (required by my clinic). I'll start on birth control when my next cycle starts (I'm CD 2 now, so in 27-ish days.)
Relieved to have this cycle off. No testing! But I am concentrating on exercise and eating healthy, hoping to lose a couple pounds by next month (I'm just barely under the BMI limit).
I'm hopeful that doing something different will be the key, but oh wow, this shit is expensive! And we're already thinking that if this round doesn't work, we look into partner IVF.
Lots of family members in the military (grandfathers, cousins). I appreciate their service.
@emsmama15- Fingers crossed for you! It is good to be moving on to something new!
@dolphin012- All my fingers and toes crossed for you!
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
TTC #1 since January, MMC/D&E + chemical pregnancy
Charting/temping, opks, getting progesterone checked on Monday
3dpo, got the crosshairs today
I'm not hopeful for this cycle. -2 timing doesn't seem great to me. I really need DH to try hard next month. The last time we really tried was in August, which resulted in the CP. Not really trying makes all of this more depressing.
QOTW: Just worked all day.
TTC#1 since Jan 2015 BFP 2/19/15 • MMC found at 9 wks • D&E at 11 wks (age 36) BFP 8/29/15 • CP (age 37)
BFP 11/18/15 • DD born at 41 weeks (age 37/38)
TTC#2 since May 2017 BFP 10/18/17 • MMC found at 8 wks • Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39) BFP 2/16/18 • CP (age 39) BFP 4/13/18 • CP (age 39) BFP 5/07/18 • MMC found at 10.5 wks • D&E at 11.5 wks • Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40) 9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied) RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy. BFP 9/24/18 • CP (age 40)
BFP 5/11/19 • Fraternal twins • MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w) • Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)
2. Clomid & IUI. Also using preseed for the first time and taking a prenatal gummy. @PattersRN and @emsmama15 - I've also worked on cutting back on coffee. It's tough because it brings so much joy to life, right?! I have these two small mugs that I found at Marshalls and I just love the look of. They're just over 8oz so I've started drinking my morning coffee out one of those to help keep my consumption in check. Pre IUI, RE said keep it to two cups a day. Post IUI instructions say 8oz.
3. 2dpiui CD15
4. Feeling neutral although my husband and I seem to be having more fun with things this cycle and joking more so that's nice. My sister is coming to visit around Christmas so I've been thinking about if I do get pregnant I'll probably end up telling her even though it would be pretty early. That, or that if I'm not pregnant I'll get to enjoy our family tradition - The "It's a Wonderful Night" viewing/drinking game with Bailey's Irish Cream
QOTW I had the day off of work which is always nice. Both my grandfathers were WWII Veterans. Wish they were still around.
1. Createillumination from california 2.TTC #1 cycle 5 3. I'm considering a more NTNP approach this cycle. 1. I need a break from the stress and heartache 2. The EDD would be at the end of august and that is the most miserable time of year here. While it's true it's hot everywhere in the country in so cal we don't have air conditioners in houses and a lot of other places because there is only a need for it a couple weeks a year. However I think we are going to get central AC in our house before next summer because the weeks we need it are getting more and more each year. (I'm scared for the planet!) But being very very pregnant at that time of year seems like insanity, but if it happens it happens hence NTNP.
I just had my blood drawn to go back to the endobioginist to see what has changed over the year and get a new herbal formula. I am excited to see if I have improved in thyroid and adrenal (the 2 areas we were targeting.)
4. CD 5 AF just ended!
5. This cycle I am using the mantra "there is a timing that is not mine, but is exactly right"
**loss mentioned**
when I got pregnant before my miscarriage, I just knew the timing was right and it happened the first cycle, somehow I have gotten away from my internal rhythm with all of these BFNs every cycle. I have learned that one of the most powerful ways in which I manifest in this world is to wait and wait until the timing is just right and then act. One of my most exciting examples of this is that we were so fortunate to buy our house at the absolute lowest dip in the real estate market using my method of waiting until it feels right. One day I woke up and decided it was time to buy, we found and bought our house 2 weeks later and it turned out to be the absolute bottom of the market. I want to find my way back to that state of knowing and receiving and being, to manifest from pure surrender.
QOTW: Yesterday was just wednesday for me but I honor our vets in my T&P.
4 CD 5. AF decided to show 3 freaking days early giving me my shortest LP and cycle ever, AND while we were in the middle of our Disney vacation. Awful. I was really hopeful for this month, which was helping me deal with my most recent loss better. So getting af again has made me really sad again and really missing baby girl we lost in July.
Onto cycle 4.
Q: we were in florida. Both my grandfathers fought in WWII.
*My husband is in the Army and we both have extendedfamilythat are Veterans or still active duty. Yesterday, my daughter an I watched the parade in our town. My husband walked in the parade withkids at the elementary school I previously worked at. I took off work since my babysitter closed yesterday as her husband returned home from deployment.
1. Milena from Serbia, Europe 2. TTC #1, 2nd cycle 3. Charting, prenatals, going for folliculometry this Monday (my ob/gyn suggested this just so we can be sure that I'm ovulating) 4. Waiting to ovulate 5. Hopeful, but relaxed. We're still at the beginning of this journey, so I think there's no reason to stress out. QOTW: Thinking of all the people I know who were affected by Yugoslav Wars during 1990s
2. ttc #1 since September 2014, but only for 9 cycles now that I'm counting
3. Temping. Both on a naturopathic protocol to 1) raise his sperm count 2) regulate my cycle and balance hormones. BD every other day. Staying natural until 2016 then retesting.
I'm 35 until August. Plan: Retest for everything in January. If sperm count good and hormones more balanced and follicle count still good - try natural until May. May 2016 see RE. If sperm count or anything is off, see RE in January.
4. CD16 Looks like I O'ed two days ago, third raised temp day is tomorrow in FF.
5. The waiting is no longer much of anything - not hope, not disappointment. Then on AF day all the stress pours out.
My father was in the navy, cousin and friends in the army. I am grateful to those willing to sacrifice so much for our safety and peace.
@emsmama15 - lol! I know it takes freakin f-o-r-e-v-e-r! Yes, you got it, we are transferring our 2 day 3 embies.
I have been thinking the same thing about Christmas cards -- no exciting travel pictures to include etc. Probably going to put a picture of our house in the snow with christmas lights from last year since the people in it are not too exciting these days!!
@createillumination - i like your mantra a lot, will try and remember it myself
@KLake42 -enjoy the break and good-luck preparing for ivf!
@CarrieandRoy -- fingers crossed for you! I know its a lot better feeling getting in -1 or 0, but but -2 is still well with in the window and gives you a good shot.

I'm waiting to see RE. Have appt tomorrow. Started acupuncture this past Saturday
