I have a tramp stamp. While I don't exactly regret it, I wouldn't get it again. It seemed like a good spot at the time and it hasn't stretched so there's that. It's a dolphin leaping through a rose-covered peace sign with the Chinese symbol for spirit behind it. Just kidding, it's not. It's a small phoenix.
@alfibet - you are scared of pain and commitment? You just had a baby!
I have a butterfly tramp stamp. Don't regret it at all I still love it. My SIL and I got our butterfly tattoos together. She's pretty much my sister. I also have a tattoo in Chinese on my side/hip with cherry blossoms. DH and I got them on our anniversary, mine means "forever his" his says "hers" . How do I know it actually means that? My SIL is Chinese so boom! And we just did mandarin so that we would be the only ones (pretty much) that know what they say. I want another one for DD but I haven't decided what yet.
4 leaf clover on my left wrist, celtic sister love knot on my left hip, and lotus flower on my right side (thats just an outline). Next is something for DS, not sure what. I love getting tattoos.
None here as well. Never found a design I liked enough to get. I normally get short term Henna designs and by the time it has gone away, I am sick of it.
Married 10/06
Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)
I got star outlines below my shoulder blades when I was 18. Had my dad take me. Then added more stars a little later. When I was 19 I got a line around my wrist that says love. I added two more bracelets that say freedom and truth when I was 25. A few months my mom and I got matching arrows. Mine is on my arm. Last winter I covered over all but the first two stars with giant flowers. Definitely want another soon.

I have three, but plan on getting at least two more.
I had my first done when I was 25, living in Seattle, and very active in the pansexual/bdsm club there. Its a rose and thorn covered triskelion on my left hip.
The second is a tramp stamp. I was 30, living in Austin and I wanted something custom that represented me. This is now my least favorite, because its from a phase in my life that wasn't so great, designed by my exhusband, and I feel I've grown past all of the things it stood for. I will eventually have it blended (not covered up) into a new tattoo. The new design calls for the tramp stamp to be the base or roots of a tree of life or being consumed by the flames of a phoenix. Haven't settled yet on which.
The third is on my right wrist, its a simple stock flower design. I got it on my first trip to NOLA.
I am getting the next one in March on my 40th birthday. I was thinking of doing it on my left wrist of a small basic tree with three birds. One bird would be orange (citrine Nov birthstone), one green, and one pink. Oct birthstone is tourmaline and it comes in a lot of different colors. My engagement ring stone is green tourmaline so I thought it would be cool to have Nathaniel's bird match the ring. That way I can represent all my babies.
I have a set of 3 seashells on my shoulder blade. DH and I want to get our initial on ring fingers or something like that. I will eventually get something for Dd.
Dh plans to get DDs footprints facing in on his feet like she is standing on his feet while dancing. I think it's adorable. If we have another, he'd get that kids handprints on his shoulders like they're riding piggyback.
I don't have any. I've wanted the same one ever since high school but haven't gotten it because I pass out around needles (yes... pregnancy was a very interesting time for me).
So if I ever get the nerve I'll be getting a dragon on my hip. (More specifically, the dragon on the gals face in Hitman. Damn mobile won't let me upload a pic.) I picked a dragon because I was born year of the dragon and dragons tend to be seen as very respected beings full of wisdom, power, and I'll-burn-you-to-a-crisp-if-you-fuck-with-me-ness.
All of my tattoos were spontaneous but I don't regret any of them. I used to have a lot of piercings and said "at least I can take them out if I get tired of them, I would never get a tattoo." Now I have 7 tattoos, go figure.
I'll start with piercings, they are all out now. I had double ears, my tragus, eyebrow, tongue, 3 surface piercings vertically down my spine, one horizontally at the base of my spine, and my belly button. I would redo the surface piercings on my back in a heartbeat but my skin rejects them
I have a henna design down the side of one foot and "not all those who wander are lost" down the side of my other foot. I have an anchor outline on my left wrist and "breathe" on my right wrist. I have a skull on the left side of my vag and a magnolia on my butt cheek. And finally, I have a dandelion blowing in the wind turning into birds across the back of my shoulders going up the back of my neck.
I've lost count of the number...let's see if I can list them. A feather with my initials on my right ankle, 3 stars on my left inner wrist, a tribal heart on my right bicep, tribal work with hibiscus flowers on my left bicep, a Kanji symbol on the back of each shoulder (one means courage, the other family), the Spanish word hijo(son) with a halo (my ex and I were supposed to adopt a Hispanic boy named Angel), a Celtic knot below that, a dream catcher with my birth symbol on my lower back and DSs baby footprint on my left calf. Next will be DDs footprint on my right calf. I think that's it! Lol
I have three, right below my neck On my back is a chinesse symbol for Princess. Got it right after my grandad died and I couldn't make it to the funeral. It was an impulse but I do not regret it. Second is an A square made of three branches and cherry blossoms. Its for me and DH and eventually I will add to it for our children. Its on my left side below my breast. Last is a wand and the quote mischief managed on the very top on my left thigh.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
I have the Japanese symbol for belief on my right shoulder blade (I looked it up in a Japanese to English dictionary before having it done) and the cat from the Jenny Linsky books (see photo) on my right arm. I'm going to have DH's initials tattooed on my wrist soon and am thinking about having some of his art put on me too.
Another with none. I'm the only person other than my mom that I know that doesn't have any. I probably will never get one, although I'm considering one for my LOs. If I do, I'm thinking something like this:
I do plan on more too. My boys names are being done on the 6th. So ill come back with a picture then.
After that I plan on having the Deathly Hallows symbol on my foot.
@golfingdarwinfish I think that's really lovely.

Haha yeah I meant that to be like ironic, I won't get a tattoo but went through the most painful and permanent thing ever.
DH wants me to get his name on my ass. LOL. I'm thinking of tricking him and faking it for Valentine's Day and seeing how he reacts
I have 3 but want more 2 or 3 more. One for DD, one for DH and one for my SIL that recently passed. My first one was at 18 and got it placed tramp stamp style but it's a tree of life. My second was after a particularly rough period of depression in college. I'm originally from NJ so I got the state with a star where I'm from and the saying "only the strong survive". It's on the right side of my rib cage. My last one is my favorite. My bridesmaids bought it for me. My grandmother passed right before my wedding and I was a wreck that she wouldn't get to be there. My grandfather was a sailor and the picture of the nurse kissing the sailor always reminded me of them. It allowed me to feel like they were there. It's on the left side of my rib cage.

I have two tattoos, but I know what my 3rd will be if I ever egg another. The first one I got on my hip when I was 22 & it's a dove. I couldn't find many pictures of it, so here it is from when DH and I started dating. Everyone told me I would regret it and it'd look awful after having kids... It looks the same. I was (still kind of am) a hippie and to me it meant faith, peace, and love (lol).
My second one I got after being married 6 months because I felt naked when I sent my rings away to be cleaned. I love it, and never feel bad for forgetting my rings. My family again said I'd regret it when I'm old and wrinkly, but I think I'll smile looking at it and remembering my life.
ETA: if I get a third it will be a dandelion with wisps flying away.
