Yup I'm going there already lol.
1. What is the etiqute for daycare? She has a desginated "teacher" but is often hanging out with the director and 1 year old teacher based on her schedule there. Do I get something just for her teacher? Should I get three smaller things?
2. What the HECK do you get a 6 month old for Christmas?!?!?! Especially since she won't care about it this year.
Re: Christmas Presents
If anyone has any toy suggestions, I'll take them!
Family will go crazy on him this year as he'll be the only baby boy on both sides of the family, so he'll get tons of clothes
Other than that, I'm agree that he'll won't really care about Christmas other than the flashing lights

I wanted to ask this question today also! So far I have gotten this:
https://www.amazon.com/Rockabye-Ahoy-Doggie-Pirate-Rocker/dp/B005RUIJG0
It was on sale on Gilt and I couldn't pass it up. Some other thing I have on his list are a new carseat, high chair, winter bunting, books, a swing for outside, baby proofing equipment, etc. At this point I am trying to stick to things we mostly "need". I want to get him a few fun things, but I know since he won't remember this year that he won't care too much about the toys.
One question I have is how the heck I am going to talk my in laws down from buying every baby related item/toy on earth. They always go WAY overboard for Christmas and I just don't want that for our kids. How do you all limit the gift buying? (Or do you limit it?). I don't want him to grow up expecing tons of gifts for holidays, plus, I want to make sure that my husband and I are able to give him the things he is most excited about (maybe this is ridiculous, but I don't want all the best gifts to come from grammie and grampy - you know?). Even with my husband, they always manage to "out do" me when it comes to gift giving, and I just want to avoid that when it comes to LO! I am not sure how to bring the subject up without coming off as rude or ungrateful.
My daycare always had a lost of classroom items that were needed, and it was encouraged to buy for the rooms, not the teachers. I always did something off the list and some chocolates that all the teachers could share. It went over really well.

I thought that was the sweetest thing. So I haven't thought of anything else yet! So grateful for all these awesome ideas!
We have hopefully finally escaped my in laws for Christmas because it was such a nightmare, a horrible nightmare. I've been keeping a mental list of practical things we could use that my family could get but I doubt they'll listen and spoil all the kids. We draw names for the adults but every family still buys for the kids.
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
2. I do not get my kids Christmas presents at this age. They don't know any different and we are on a tight budget. When they're 2+ I get them three gifts. I feel like if it's good enough for Jesus it's good enough for them. They get a ton of loot anyway between stockings, holiday parties and grandparents. They're totally not deprived; we have too much crap as it is.
