I'm getting my eyebrows waxed today…and my belly! Missing my peach fuzz belly - all this extra belly hormone hair is gross! X_X
Oh my gosh I neeeeeed to get this done! I legit have a treasure trail under my belly button. It's disgusting and I'm always mortified when I have to lift my shirt to hear baby's heartbeat.
Is it bad that I lift up my shirt to show people my hairy belly? It's so fascinating to me that it got hairy!

Lol this is awesome! I should do this more. But I have to say having a smooth waxed belly is nice - like a big Buddha belly!
I had serious thoughts of strangling the delivery guy when he showed up after an hour when he was supposed to be here in 25-30 minutes. Then I almost cried when I had to call the place back because they brought me nachos instead of the grilled chicken sandwich with fries that I ordered!!
Just and FYI though @missnacholover I would have totally eaten the nachos if they weren't cold.
@mommymeg143 don't worry about seeming creepy/stalkerish to @KUinCBUS she probably already knows where you live
Also, can we all meet somewhere to get a mani/pedi? That sounds like a fab N14 outing!
I got a mani/pedi yesterday and it was awesome! A hand massage has never felt so good lol
My confession: I know I should want LO to bake as long as possible but I really want her to be here. DD1 has become miss independent and doesn't wanna snuggle me anymore DD2 will have no choice but to snuggle with me! Also I've been way more achy this time around and honestly this baby is just getting too heavy.

@heisenberg - awwww thank you! Now im blushing "> @absolutelymaybe and @knitsmagee - It's weird how even the internet can bring out our insecurities. I mean, I am a grown woman, a professional, I work with male prisoners and gang bangers all day- I should be able to refrain myself from having anxiety over a labor buddy online, right?? Lol I did find an awesome LB- @sweetbabyrahe - she likes me! Hehehehe
The rejection was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the labor buddy comment come up. I am glad they are going to do assignments tho so now I dont have to feel rejected! but I am starting to think I may be better off just doing it myself like @absolutelymaybe, I too dont want to be a shitty buddy!
This exactly. I put myself on there but nobody said anything ... then I realized (and I honestly don't feel rejected) I may not post enough. So thinking I may need to go the absolutelymaybe route as well.
@ninergirl52 I was skipped over too. Then thought maybe I should do the absolutelymaybe route in case I have my kid first and get so overwhelmed that I fail the person I got buddied up with... so I didn't say anything.
Maybe we could buddy up - "no pressure" buddies? haha
@AnnieRoo13...I'm so down for an N14 mani/pedi adventure. We were supposed to go on a weekend getaway awhile back but it fell through. Anyone remember that? Hehe...
I have so much stomach hair too!! I am so close to shaving it but I feel like i'm already too attached to it to let it go. Bahahaha....)
@LongIslandMama1114...Hand Massages are my most favorite thing now for some reason. I beg DH to rub my hands every night!! I would rather have that over a back rub which is SO not like me.

It's so weird! You'd think a foot or a back massage would be much more enjoyable but nope! I was sitting there thinking...please don't ever stop! )
Back in college, I posed naked for photos. Like professional, artsy photos. I'm not ashamed of them. In fact, many of the are pretty beautiful. I struggled with eating disorders and being insecure in my own skin most of my life, and they really helped boost my confidence and made me feel positive about my body.
(This FC was spurred on by an offer I just got from an amazing photographer I know who doesn't do "maternity photos" but wants to discuss doing something artsy with me. My initial thought was, "Oh god, I hope he doesn't ask me to take off my clothes!" but then I realized how negative that sounded. I'm growing two freaking humans right now. My body is kind of amazing. .... With that said, I don't want to end up on a list of awkward maternity photos, so not sure if I'm going to do it. It will depend on his concepts I guess.)

January 2014 - IVF = 3 freezer babies

My FFFC: my shower is Sunday and I've been stalking both my registries today at work non-stop. Not to mention I have added and deleted a few things. For some reason I can't. stop. watching. It's sad really.
I'm getting annoyed with people not realizing that I'm pregnant. I know it catches people off guard when they see a pregnant girl in a wheelchair but it's completely 100% obvious at this point. It happened twice yesterday; once at Starbucks DH told the girl to please make sure it was decaf since I'm pregnant, she said ohhhh really? Like she was shocked. The other time was at a store where DH was talking to the sales person and said something like oh when the baby gets here. I know it's not one of the most normal things to see, but come on. People are just so rude.
I know it's not the same situation but if it makes you feel better 2 people yesterday and 1 that I work in the same dept with just realized I was pregnant today (and it was because he was told). I had to tell one of the 2 yesterday. And the second one from yesterday I pass about 14 times a day cuz her cubicle is right by the bathroom and we say hi every time.... I'm like really???
~Nov14 Moms November Siggy Challenge: CELEBRATION!! ~
I have thought of shaving my belly. Is that weird??
The plus side of doing this is that any stranger that pats your belly might get a prickly surprise from the hairs poking through - stranger belly danger repellent! :-bd
Question- do I manually take the items off the registry or does everyone that logs on see that some items are "done?" I have a target registry if that helps.
My ex- best freind (ex best friend for the reason that she was sneaking around with the guy that I was just starting to see behind my back) just named her little girl the one baby name that DH and I could agree on and I am super annoyed. I know that nobody owns a name but really what are the chances...now I need to decide if we even still consider this name or not...ugh
@silverwings72 - If the cashier/buyer did everything right, it should mark those items as purchased. You can remove them if you want, but I think leaving them on there might give people a better idea of what you already have.
@Alid86 - It depends on how common the name is. If you were going to name her, say, "Sophia" (which is a very common name), I wouldn't worry about it. If the name is more unique, then I would reconsider (maybe use it as a middle name instead). It also depends on how close you are to this person (do you share a group of mutual acquaintances). If not, then I doubt anyone is going to notice and I'd just use the name anyway.

I finally remembered what I was going to confess... I've been counting down the days until the Jay Z and Beyonce concert on HBO this weekend! I can't wait to have a dance party tomorrow night in my living room! Popping bottles of Apple Cider! LOL (I'm being serious)
My confession: I find it annoying that non expectant mothers take up the 4 parking spots specifically designated for expectant mothers at my hospital... (I don't think this would be such a pet peve if I wasn't high/risk and not allowed to walk any further than I have to) Especially now that I have to come here 3 times a week it seems there's always someone either coming or going from these spots that's not pregnant-- last time it was 2 construction guys in a pickup) Today's example-- this elderly lady that just got out of that white car: what's even more frustrating is that this person had a handicap placard hanging up -- & notice the closer and ALL empty handicap designated spots right in front of the hospital.
McDonald's just started their pumpkin late drink. I had a large one today. My tongue is burnt now and I feel guilty for the caffeine I just gave the baby.

One of our N14 mommas suggested this awhile back and it's brilliant. Just call her "The Best xxxxxx". For example, if Sophia was the name you chose, it would be The Best Sophia. Take that ex best friend biotch.

@MrsG1019 - WTF is wrong w/ people? I'm an expectant mother and I seriously won't even park in expectant mother parkings spots because I'd rather leave them for people like you who CAN'T walk that far (or shouldn't). It's just uncomfortable for me. I'm courteous like that.

I have yet to see any expectant mother parking spots where we moved to in FL (they were everywhere in MD). Everytime we get a close spot anywhere my husband exclaims "EXPECTANT MOTHER PARKING".

Hey I knew no one was going to pick me (we're just all to shy clearly lol) so I jumped in there like @lisaren said!! Seems like you both found buddies on this thread though, but I'm always up for a few more
I'm in the fear of rejection category here. I finally jumped in on the thread a bit ago. I have been really hit and miss in posting lately but I've been around for a long while. I figure if no one wants to buddy up I'll just post myself
@sAAmFam -- if she wasn't old I would have -- ahh who am I kidding... I'm all talk. I just gave her a dirty look and went on about my business.
@absolutelymaybe I agree!! I didn't even park in the designated spot today ... Since the spot right next to these 4 was open.. I parked there instead in hopes of leaving these designated spots open for someone who really needs it... One shall hope right? Guess how everyone has the same courtesy.
@Lilwatz hahah. Here, I've only seen them at the hospital, the malls, and BRU. It's a nice convenience but usually they're quickly taken (especially at the mall) DH does the same thing with designating his own expectant mother spots.. He gets as close as possible .. Which most often is pretty far back. Lol. Love their enthusiasm!
My second shower hosted by MIL is tomorrow....and I'm dreading it. DH won't be there, it's all his side of the family, and I hate being the center of attention. Plus it's a 2+ hour drive each way...
@absolutelymaybe it is a bit more uncommon but starting to become more used as of late which in itself is making me reconsider...our friend circles slightly overlap but we never see each other.

My "work" day has consisted of Facebook, The Bump, stalking my registry, and watching my belly make waves from LOs movement.
