I'm trying to find a more "economical" diaper:) We've been using Pampers, and DD is turning a year, it's starting to get a bit pricey. Any thoughts on Target brand or is there another diaper you recommend?
We use Target brand all the time. They're a great price ... plus, they always have sales, and most of the time if you buy two you get a free giftcard. I always try to stock up at that time. With the Target Cartwheel app, you can also save an additional percentage off. I think I usually end up spending about 9 cents per diaper after the sale price, the free giftcard and the extra percentage.
We've been using Target diapers since DD was in size 1. We recently had to switch to something else for overnights due to leaks, but we've been very happy with them overall.

Use them and love them. We use Pampers overnight because he was leaking through at times. But for day time diapers they are great. Always a sale as others have said. Cartwheel app and gift cards when you buy 2. Give them a shot!

We use them as a half step up in size. For example we are in size 3 pampers now. When these get tight we will use the target 3s until those get tight then on to size 4 of pampers. We use pampers dry for overnight. I also use cartwheel, pampers coupons and target coupons for deals.

Wow that's great. I didn't know I can get extra savings, I thought they were a great price already:) How do you get an extra gif card, if there's a sale running in the flyer?
We use them sometimes too, we switch between Target and Costco brands, depending on the sale price. The only issue I have had is when we tried the Christmas themed ones that looked like elf pants. They had too much red dye in them, and the dye leaked out onto his skin, so his legs and butt were all stripey red. Other than that, not too many problems.
Use them during the day, but he leaks through overnight so we use Huggies night times for overnight. Consumer reports rated Target's diapers high for their price.
We love the Target brand diapers! I'll admit my son has peed through them once or twice, but otherwise we love them. So much cheaper then Pampers, we also use the Target wipes.
We tried them and hated them. DS leaked through, and we were changing more often. Sticking with Pampers.
After trying them I found a site that tested and compares big brand diapers (with cost too). You can see Target brand doesn't absorb very well. Worth checking out... BabyGearLab

Really depends on the baby. my older daughter wore them from around 18 months until she was potty trained and we had no complaints, very absorbant
My younger daughter was born with very sensitive skin and now has eczema, we tried them on her and within an hour she broke out in a horrible blistery rash...she now uses huggies little movers.
