Hey ladies, I didn't see this posted for today and I saw that
@marnief had her LO. I don't mind taking this over unless someone else would like to. Please let me know if I missed anyone.
This is a weekly check-in for members in their third trimester. You can
feel free to join at 28 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell
when you greet your little ones! If you are new, please include your
EDD and team in your post.
Congratulations again
@marnief and
@Okitty on the arrival of your little ones! Hope mom and baby are all doing well!

Re: 3rd Tri Check In 8/13/14
How far along are you? I am 34w 2 days
Upcoming appointments? I had my appointment today. I couldn't see my doctor and saw another doctor in the practice because mine was running behind. It was mentioned I am measuring a bit small but I am a smaller girl so I am not trying to think much of it. I go in next week for my growth ultrasound and I am going weekly for appointments now.
Any updates to share? We had our baby shower last weekend and I am soo overwhelmed/grateful. Now to just go to the stores and get a few more items so we can finally start on the nursery.
How are you feeling? I am feeling as good as I can be. Still dealing with awful heartburn and it does take me some time to get comfortable at night to sleep. It seems like all of this is completely normal though.
I hope you all have a great week! Congrats to those who welcomed their LO's!
Upcoming appointments? Just one more NST before the big day - c/s is scheduled for Saturday 8/16. Holy crap. it hasn't really sunken in yet that we'll be meeting our daughters on Saturday (if not before - although I'm not having any signs of impending labor - cervix was closed at last check). I've been more focused on the logistics like prepping my parents to take care of our pets and the house etc. I've been having dreams about them though.
Any updates to share? Babies were estimated at 6.14 and 6.4 on Monday but they said could be off a lb either way. I am really glad they are a good weight and hopeful that we will avoid NICU time. I was measuring 47 weeks at the OB on Monday. People gawk at me wherever I go b/c my bump is so large and torpedo-like. No one has said anything hurtful though. GBS was negative - not sure if it even matters since I'm having a c/s.
How are you feeling?: I think pretty well, definitely a little more emotional than usual (very upset by Robin Williams' death - which would normally upset me of course, but maybe not as intensely). Physically OK, SPD pain has been under control with just a few flare-ups. Sleep continues to be a challenge but I am getting some in 1-2 hour spurts. It will be nice to eventually be able to bend over again and be more mobile.
Upcoming appointments? I just had one yesterday and I have another on Wednesday.
Any updates to share? I had no change in dilation or being effaced yesterday I know it is normal, but I am feeling very ready to meet our LO! As a precaution, the OB sent me for bloodwork today. I have quite a bit of itching, so he wants to be sure it isn't cholestasis. I am pretty certain it will be negative, so I am not worried.
How are you feeling? I feel...okay. I would like the itching to stop, but other than that everything is pretty much the same!
QOTW: I like a lot of baked goods...how can I pick? I love making no-knead bread and chocolate chip cookies and coconut cake with lemon curd filling and coconut macaroons and seven layer bars and so much more. I also really love buying dobish (chocolate cake with raspberry filling), moio's almond cake with cherry nut filling, and French macarons...of and chocolate croissants.
4 rounds of clomid, 2 with IUI = BFN
Upcoming appointments? We are going to a pet/new baby class tomorrow night. Should be interesting...We have our next appointment for baseline for growth on the 28th.
Praying unceasingly for a miracle. ALL welcome!
QOTW: Baked goods such as cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies, and red velvet cupcakes are yummy.
Upcoming appointments? Just saw my OB yesterday. I go for 2nd NST tomorrow (Friday) night along with an amniotic fluid check. I see the GD nutritionist on Friday afternoon. Busy day for sure!
Any updates to share? trying to remain calm....dr. found protein in urine and is concerned about pre-eclampsia. She is starting me on weekly checks now. I was biweekly until the end of August....so she said there was nothing else I could do but keep mobile and eating right.
How are you feeling? My belly is heavy and it's hard to rest on my sides at night. Still up 6x nightly to use the bathroom. Have some swelling in my feet and ankles and hands. hanging tough as I go back to start the school year on August 25th in hopes of helping to select a long term sub for my class that will follow through with my planning that I've left.
QOTW: I want to keep this happy because I know everyone has been devastated by the loss of Robin Williams. I happen to be watching a baking show, so what is your favorite baked good? Either one you make or one you prefer to buy. I LOVE my apply pie and chocolate chip cookie recipes!

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
Upcoming appointments? just saw the doctor on Tuesday at exactly 29 weeks. everything looks good so far. Baby is weighing in at 3 lbs. next appointment is in 2 weeks.
Any updates to share? Childbirth class was great although it made me very nervous about labor. I also attended a breastfeeding class and another class called Happiest Baby on the block where they showed techniques to calm the baby.
How are you feeling? I have been feeling pretty good. Sleep is not great though and my leg cramps are getting worse.
Congratulations @marnief on the arrival of your LO. Thank you, @jenschultz85 for taking over the 3rd trimester check-in.
QOTW - I do love most baked goods. I am diabetic so have to be super careful. Everything in moderation. I like Hershey's Perfect Chocolate Cake.
Upcoming appointments? So many! Chiropractor on Friday (a great addition to the 3rd tri, and so helpful with silly back pains!), OB on Monday and NST #3 on Wednesday.
Any updates to share? Strep test was negative, and NST/fluid checks are going well. Got my TDAP vaccine, and DH got his TDAP and flu vaccines. Working from home from here on out was a super smart decision, and is helping me be more productive and feel more ready to step away from work for 12 weeks soon.
How are you feeling? DH and I took a very short (verrrrrry slow) walk on Tuesday, during which I turned to DH and (with indigestion, increasing B/H contractions, back pain and a smile) said, "I think I'm finally feeling ready for her to arrive." Not even two weeks ago I was telling him she could stay put as long as she wants.
QOTW: Oh yeah...ALL THE BAKED GOODS! Blueberry muffins sound the best to me right this second, though.
Began TTC #1 in Sept. 2010. I was 33, DH was 36.. Dx with DOR and slight MFI (8/4/11).
Test results (after first RE visit 6/21/11): 7DPO b/w: Progesterone = 11.3; CD3 b/w: FSH = 10.1 mUnits/mL, E2= 52.0 pg/mL, AFC: 6; SIS Ultrasound: Uterus great, tubes clear! AMH: 0.3

We welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world on September 11, 2014!
How far along are you? 39 week 1 day
Upcoming appointments?
Just had my weekly appointment today. Cervix still just 1 cm dilated. During my check the OB really got up there to check and boy was it uncomfortable! We discussed induction dates, for August 27-30 range if he doesn't come before then. I'll have to check in the hospital the night before, given the suppository and see how things progress. I go in next Wed for a NST to make sure the baby is doing ok.
Any updates to share? Had an ultrasound last week since I was measuring small. Results came back that I was measuring 36 weeks, with a range of +- 2 weeks and baby was 6.9 lbs +- 1 lb. His body was proportional, OB didn't mention any concerns nor did the technician. All fluid levels look good, I'll probably just have a baby in the 6-7 lb range which is good with me since I'm only 5'2" and hope to have a vaginal delivery.
How are you feeling? I'm feeling very ready to have this baby. Swelling in my feet, and lower back pain. I'm doing more yoga positions at night as well as drinking coconut water so I don't get horrendous calf cramps. My husband is also great at massaging my lower back which helps tremendously with the lower back aches.
QOTW: My favorite baked good--so hard to choose! I love almond and chocolate croissants, and love to bake quick breads like banana and zucchni bread.
Upcoming appointments? Second NST of the week tomorrow morning, then appt. with MFM Monday and OB Tuesday
How are you feeling? I am uncomfortable, but glad to be getting bigger. My hips hurt a lot at night while I'm trying (failing) to sleep despite my body pillow, wedge pillow and whatever else I can shove around my body and between my knees. Other than that I'm just tired but so, so very happy this baby gets to stick around a bit longer. Last of the showers was this past weekend (we had three small ones in different cities) and they were all so lovely- we now have just about everything we need with the exception of a few items I'll order from Amazon (yay Prime!).
QOTW: I miss baking! And baked goods. We did have some awesome sugar-free cupcakes at my last shower, and when baby is born I plan on loading up from the cupcake shop down the street. I think any cream-filled cupcake qualifies as my favorite.
How far along are you? - 30 weeks today
Upcoming appointments? - I have an appointment Tuesday check up.
Any updates to share? - I woke up yesterday to cramping in my lower left side. Went into Labor & delivery. Turns out they were contractions due to dehydration. They also confirmed gestational diabetes. Doc put me out til Monday. Need lots of rest & water. Other wise our boy is great!
How are you feeling? - today I am tired. The pharmacy screwed up yesterday so I had to wait to eat until I got my diabetic meter. Threw me really out of whack. I'm also impatiently waiting for diabetic teacher to call me so I can have a clue on my new diet.
How far along are you?
I'm 28w2d, edd is Nov 4th.
Upcoming appointments?
Next appointment is in 2 weeks, then we start biweekly.
Any updates to share?
I did my glucose test last week and my dr said they should have results Mon or Tues and no news is good news, so assuming that means I passed. But I'll call tomorrow to confirm, I've been traveling this week for work finally going home tonight!
How are you feeling?
Tired and sore from traveling and sitting all day at the conference, looking forward to my own bed tonight. Otherwise good though!

Me:Hypothyroid DH: Type II diabetic. Together since 03/2007, Married 10/2011, D/C bc 10/2011. TTC: 11/2011. Charted BBT and CV along with OPK 10/2011-02/2012 Baseline labs 02/2012 WNL, SA 03/2012: botched sample by lab - destroyed hubby's confidence. 04/2012 Clomid 05/2012 Clomid 06/2012 Clomid 07/2012 Clomid and Ovidrel 08/2012 Ovidrel (I never knew that I was supposed to be monitored while on meds...I never was. At 12 mos I decided to look for another doc. 02/2013 consult with new doc....3 days later testing began...u/s, all good, HSG: all good, labs: all good, ovulating, etc. Started on Pregnitude. 04/2013 failed attempt for SA, 05/2013 failed attempt SA. 12/2013 SA: 3% morph, abnormal functionality. thank you!!
Upcoming appointments? Weekly NSTs and biophysical profiles from here on out.
Any updates to share? With our first NST, the nurse had a hard time getting both boys on monitors. One monitor kept switching from B to A. I also had one nice contraction and constant uterine irritation during the whole NST. So they made me do double the time and then get a cervical check to make sure everything checked out, which it did. We are also in deep with baby classes right now. Just trying to get as much info as possible!
How are you feeling? Pretty good still. I'm trying to drink as much water as I can stomach to keep the contractions at bay.
QOTW: I want to keep this happy because I know everyone has been devastated by the loss of Robin Williams. I happen to be watching a baking show, so what is your favorite baked good? Either one you make or one you prefer to buy. Oh man, cheesecake, peanut butter cookies, and muffins of any kind. I looove baking!
@jenschultz85 - Have you tried Prilosec? I had the same thing and that's what my Dr recommended (he said he normally doesn't recommend a brand but that other moms have said that one worked the best, even over the generics for some reason). I've been taking it daily for a long time and it really helped me a lot.
How far along are you? 37w6d
Upcoming appointments? not until next week again. They'll start the vaginal check next week to see if anything's happening.
Any updates to share? He's still measuring fine, I haven't gained any weight in 3 weeks but it doesn't seem like they're worried...maybe LO is sucking up all the calories instead of me and he'll turn out to be huge! I hope not!
How are you feeling? Just generally uncomfortable and still have a lot to do. I'm hoping the LO hangs out in there until close to the due date so I can get some things done around the house and at work! That's stressing me out.I have a couple things I need to get done but I can't because people keep asking me questions on the very things I'm trying to get done so that they don't have to ask me questions!
QOTW: Wat is your favorite baked good? Hmm, I do love Cherry pie and Strawberry Rhubarb pie (store/restuarnt bought). And Banana Bread, but I have yet to try to make it at home.
TTC on and off since 2005
July 2012: Infertility tests started at OB/Gyn, HSG and HSN all clear

How far along are you? 28w1d
Upcoming appointments? Sept 2, down to 3 week appts.
Any updates to share? Nothing major, little girl is wiggly and measuring right on track. I had failed my one hour glucose but then passed the 2 hour with flying colors even though I'm on nasal steroids which raises levels - Dr. was very pleased. If we have a second baby I'm just going to do the 2 hour.
How are you feeling? A little hard to breathe at the moment but I've been extremely sick for 4 weeks (pneumonia-like symptoms: 2 inhalers, a course of antibiotics, and now the nasal steriods) and am finally starting to feel a little human again so I'm on top of the world.
QOTW: What is your favorite baked good? All of them?!? lol Chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies probably, but the last 2 weeks I've been craving lemon meringue pie and lemon danishes.
Formerly buttercupaug 06 - and I was almost silver
