Do you feel like you overcompensate for your "struggles"? For instance, I find myself over buying for Allie. I justify it my head by saying well I would spend this much if I had two kids. H and I just had this conversation and he agreed.
I wondered if this was normal.

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

Thanks for the replies. I was beginning to think we were crazy. (We still could be. : p)
Thank you for your support.
We are still hoping to have more than one, but we are not to the point of overbuying, partly because there haven't been any actual gift giving holidays yet, partly because we don't have the room or money to buy all the things. I don't think that will change, because we really don't want B to think he can have everything he wants, and don't want him to feel entitled/be spoiled, etc. Of course I know that you don't want that for your DD, I hope you don't think I'm implying anything!
