DS is really getting into fingerfoods and will eat pretty much any cut up fruit. I'd like to pack a fruit snack for him to take to daycare every day, but need to send it cut up into pieces because he goes to a small daycare and they don't have time to cut it up themselves. Any ideas on how I can keep it fresh until snack time?

Re: Need tips on packing fresh fruit
I probably should have said I'm trying to avoid lemons if possible, DS hates them. He refused to eat any puree that had alot of citric acid in it.

Strawberries will keep, cut up grapes, nectarines. If you pack a banana, will they not take the 3 seconds to cut it up in spears?
