Has your baby gone without pooping? My son has always had multiple BMS a day until now. He hasnt pooped since Thursday night. He's had a ton of gas and doesn't seem particularly bothered by it. But I am!
Edit. He's drinking bm bottles and maybe 1 formula bottle a day right now.
DS goes every other day, typically, but he has gone 3 to 4 days in the past when we switched formula. The pedi was not concerned and said so long as his poop wasn't hard like rabbit pellets or very very dark, then he wasn't constipated. Since your LO is also gassy, could it be the formula? For whatever reason, DS went less often and had way more gas with similac and Gerber than he does on enfamil. Even generic enfamil causes issues because of the super small differences.

We are using similac advanced. That could be the issue.

It depends on the baby, too... my friends baby is the opposite... she can't do enfamil. The pedi said nutritionally they are interchangeable but there are slight differences in ingredients
As long as he's still tooting and seems happy, I wouldn't worry. But, for the record, my first kid was fed about the same as yours and he once went a week and I got my panties in a wad. He was fine. ;-)

Every baby is different. My son drinks gerber good start and usually goes twice a day. But I've heard many times that they won't always go every day and can go up to a week I think?
Re: how long...
