Unless it's after 7, I swaddle S back up and try to get her back to sleep. According to moms in my new moms group, this is actually pretty late in the morning so I was curious, when do you wake up and stay awake for the day?
The boys go to bed at 730 or 8 and sleep until 4 or 5. They eat and then go back to bed. Sometimes they sleep until 8 or 9 but I never let them sleep later than that since it messes up their bedtime that night.
Hope that answers your question!

Maybe I'm super lazy, but I find 7am to be pretty early. I'll sleep with DD until 9 or so (and sometimes later, depending on what kind of night we've had). After that I'll stay awake for the day. I'm also not very good at functioning on little sleep, so I'll take advantage of her sleeping in the AM for me to catch a nap or two. I don't nap the rest of the day.

I was wondering the same thing! But this is me as well. I try to get up around 8 or 9 to give M his morning Zantac.

This. But if I get a chance to nap I will, which isn't likely

DH gets up for work at 6:30, and DS typically wakes up with him. Since he makes coffee I tend to stay at that point. Unfortunately, since I am working from home, I find few chances to nap during the day, so if we happen to sleep through DH's morning routine, we can sometimes sleep until 8 or 9.
We wake up at 7 am here. If DS won't go back to sleep after a post 5am feeding, he is daddy's because mommy sleeps. DD starts her day between 7am and 7:30am, and I get up with her.

Little Snuffles is lazy like her mama and sleeps a lot of the morning. We put her down around 10:30 or 11 (well, really, I guess we more like dream-feed from the previous feed around 8) and she wakes up again anywhere between 3 and 4:30, and I feed her and pump. Husband then feeds her again before work around 7 while I sleep. She wakes up again around 9:30 or 10 and I am up for the day. Snuffles, on the other hand, will nap pretty heavily until noon or one. Can't complain, really.
DD wakes up between 6 and 7:30am so I usually top and tail then feed her and she sleeps until about 9 to 10'ish. Sometimes she won't sleep. Basically I follow her direction as to whether she has a nap or not. During that time I quickly tidy and grab a shower myself.
LO religiously wakes to eat every morning between 4-5 and at that point I just bring him to bed with us and he and I will stay in bed until about 8ish. Then once I'm up I'm up for the day. I don't nap at all during the day.
J usually starts crying at 5:30 which is not long after a feed. I will just bring him to bed with us, moving away all sheets. He usually sleeps until 6:30 or 7 after that.

She wakes at 7 but only for 30 to 45 mins. So not sure if this is really awake or just more awake then in the middle of the might. I am thinking her bedtime needs to be earlier though because getting her down, usually I start at 8 and she's asleep by 9, is horrendous. She cries for that whole hour practically.
I am trying to change this but lo goes yo sleep around 12 snd wakes every few hours to eat until about noon or 1 when she is really awake. I'm trying to get her down earlier but it's a fight :
We start our bedtime routine around 8 or 8:30 and she's usually asleep by 10. She gets up to eat between 4 and 6 and then sleeps for another few hours. Right now, 7 would be too early for us to start our day.
LO falls asleep around 8 then wakes for a feed around 1 or 2 and then around 5. If I am lucky enough for him to fall back asleep, you bet your butt I'm going back to bed with him until whenever he gets up. Sometimes that is between 9 and 10, but usually he stays awake for several hours after that 5 ish feeding. Yuck.

same for me. DS doesn't go down til like midnight, but sleeps til 8 or 9. I will sleep in with him because we go to bed late and get up a couple times.
Before I start back to work ill start trying to get him down earlier because I will be up by 6. But DH doesn't get home til 8 or 9 from work, so I have allowed DS to stay up late so he can have time with him.
My LO is up at 6:30 sharp every single morning (we start bedtime routine at 8:30 and she's usually in her crib by 9:45pm). I think that's super early, though...and so is 7am. If she slept until 8 or 9, I would be SO much happier!
